Grand western canal

Going to take the aerotec down to the grand western canal next weekend, will post up a little trip report. 12 miles of canal with no locks. The boat will be filled to capacity with people and in addition we'll be towing at least another 4 people in their canoes! Will make a change from our normal adventures at sea.

Been planning to do the canal for ages but they have a max. Hp per metre of vessel rule that required the purchase of a much smaller outboard.

Far cheaper to improvise a 20 foot bowsprit with a length of dowel.
