What type of grease should I use to grease my Tohatsu 9.8 2 stroke?

You want a Marine Grease - something that will not react with water - something like this: Quicksilver 2 4 C Marine Grease FOR Mercury Mercruiser Inboards Sterndrives | eBay

You'll find similar products for half that price and they'll be fine too - check out Fuchs...

Thanks Willk,I shall go and have a look,all my grease is multi purpose for on the farm.

Aqua shield is good & looks exactly like one of the mercury greases we use it on offshore equipment working subsea

I shall look up Aqua shield,rather than spend a lot on a tube of grease to go in my grease gun,would I be better off buying a small tube and hand pump,like the one by quick silver.as there are only 2 grease nipples,the rest can be squeezed out where its needed.

Dont use Copper based grease or lubricant on your outboard especially below the waterline .
