Hi all [emoji1423]

Hi everyone, I’m Fitz. Just introducing myself as part of the SIB community on here, been browsing through this forum for a few weeks after accidentally coming across it. Great to see everyone’s set up!!! [emoji475]*♂️[emoji41]

Hi Fitz... a welcome from me. So what outfit do you run and whereabouts do you go out?

David

Hi David. Thanks dude. I’m on the south coast near Christchurch. My SIB weapon of choice is a 4.2 Z futura FR, full airdeck, Merc 15 “super” tuned to 18hp as it’s a tohatsu block. Click image for larger version

Nice location to be based... great images.

I've commented recently that over the past 10yrs I've been close to getting a Futura a couple of times.... but each deal never quite worked out.

Now I'm just slightly downshifting weights for an easier daily setup they would be out of the question... until we possibly go trailed in a few years.

David, Those futuras are worlds apart because of their lack of drag once up on a plane as they literally hop across the water and are actually quicker mid air. I’ve had a 15ft speed boat and 16ft center console and this is by far the one that just keeps on giving and giving in terms of fun and adventure where hard bottomed boats simply cannot access. I self launch with zodiac wheels etc, at 85kilos for the boat and 41 for the motor I am definately at my limit weight wise to handle it one man.

If there’s any Question of these futuras capabilities check out these pics, this is my mates mk3 4.5 air-deck and tohatsu 2-stroke 30. It Clearly doesn’t like being in water.....🤣🤣🤣Click image for larger version
