Honwave 2.4 V with 8hp

Picked up a honwave 2.4 v floor I recall it's rated max 5hp but I will be using a spare 8hp I've already have as the boat will be used mainly with the max weight capacity I understand the over powering risks and the overpowering will be used with caution has anyone run the 2.4 with an 8hp I'm just wondering (before I find out on Saturday) will she plane loaded to max and what kind of top speed will be expected? Also out of curiosity I wonder what the top speed with just one person and maybe some front balast would be? Must be around 30kph?

V floor with rear planing tabs, exactly the same as the T27ie model except it's 30cm smaller in length, the T24ie also has the large 42cm tubes as the T27ie has and I stand corrected. . . . the max outboard for the T24ie is rated at 6hp so I guess the 8hp will make little difference than the 6hp really, except most 6hp are single cylinder and the 8hp is twin so a bit more torquey.

I'm not so sure. . . . I couldn't find an exact video match but did find this. . . A Mercury 2.5 with an 8hp (it's actual max rating for the Mercury 2.5 boat!) I believe the Mercury 2.5 boat is an air keel with air deck, oh well I do also have a Honda bf15 lol
