i have a 2.7m plastimo rib with a 10 hp mercury i often use it at sea,on a calm day it is fine,its a bit scary when it gets choppy but also a bit of a giggle

Thats pretty handy! Shame i dont have a bigger car.
I spotted one similar to that and thought it was a bargain road trailer.. then i read "launching trailer" disspointment followed.. lol

had the new honda out today, it was brilliant, the sea was sometimes 2 metres high, quite scary, not sure if i should be out in that. but had a wet suit and life jacket on.

thats rough! haha how did it handle? Gives me confidence in mine! On the transom or in the manual (i cant remember which) im sure it says it can handle force 6! Which i thinks pretty rough for a 4m sib!

handled pretty well, going out again tmw and sea conditions are going to be the same i think,Ill try to get a video. we got air more than once last week.

Yes definately try and get a video of it. Would be good to see what its like. Need to get out on mine on the sea, wil have to find some time to do it

Honwave t40

Hi guys I have a 40hp mariner 2 stroke ex rnli and I was wondering if maybe getting a honwave t40 to go with it the problem is I’m just concerned about the weight and power I’m wondering if the honwave would be able to deal with it on the transom do you guys have any information or suggestions that would be great
