Honwave

We have a 3.8 m rib & when we used it mid July it was fine , we blew it up again last week & it went down at the back we found a tiny pin hole no idea how it got there , we patched it but it’s not worked is there any we’re professionally that fix’s them , we only used it 4 times

Oh dear sorry to hear that.

Might be worth contacting Boatworld in Chesterfield as you’re so near. Not sure they do in house repairs but will have a third party repairer if not.

Thanks rang them today they don’t do work for any one else
Told us about a place down south but will look into your recommendations

If the pinhole is on a flat part of the tube then a 100% DIY repair should be easily within your reach if you upload a pic of the area and take advice from here on how to glue.

We tried that brought the kit but it still went down so decided to have it done by a professional as would hate the RNLI coming for us

Honestly it's not difficult if you follow advice, I do wonder if it was the right kit for the boat material. Did the patch just peel off after a short while?

No not peeled of kit was bought from boat world but boat still goes down

Have you proved the leak is from the patch by finding bubbles from it or could there be another leak elsewhere?

Was the kit one or two part glue?
