Honwave Accessories - are they avialable?
Any Honwave owners had difficulties getting Honwave accessories?
I ordered a boat cover nearly a month ago from a major Honda dealer in Swansea, they claim it was delivered, then claim haulier lost it, now claim replacment ordered. Still no sign.
Also ordered a seat, and bow bag from the same dealer nearly three weeks ago. Dealer now says waiting on the Honwave bow bag.
Have any other Honwave owners had difficulty in getting these parts?
Service has been terrible, I have had to chase by phone and e-mail.
Any other suppliers that can be recommended?
Andrew

Most dealers don't actually keep the stuff advertised on their website. To make them more competitive and earn max profit once they receive an order they try to source it from the cheapest place.
Given the fact that now boating season has ended, sourcing these items is not easy for them! So no wonder why your order is a bit difficult for them to dispatch it!
Youngsboatyard is quite competitive, but it worth calling them first to make sure they stock your items.

Honwave spares
Thanks Guys,
Timmo where did you get your parts if I can ask?
Youngsboatyard is the dealer I placed the order with, pitty they dont tell you this before you part with £280 of hard earned cash.

I sourced a new Honwave T35-AE, bow bag, full cover and seat bag in Sept from Seamark Nunn. Competitive delivery charges and all items available within 2-3 days. Speak to David or Martin if you want to know what they could do.

Honwave Accessories
I rang today about my order, told on back order but will refund. no explanation or reason.
This is strange as last week I was told my seat was in stock, waiting on the bow bag and that the boat cover had been shipped , then lost by haulier.
My advisc avoid this dealer- my refund not yet issued, will take up with pay pal on Monday.
Called John Bridger Marine, nice polite lady told me she would order and expect the goods in mid next week, she would call me when in stock and then ask for payment. Sounds more promising.

Honwave parts
John Bridger Marine called today at 9.00am , told me my parts we in (only odered last Friday morning) asked for payment and told me that they would be with me tommorow.
Cant fault the John Bridger for service or speed, pleasure to do business with.
Can' t believe I the major Honda dealer in Swansea gave me such a weak story on getting these parts, he had my money for a month, and now waiting for my refund.

Hmmm interesting. I was told by youngs after several phonecalls that he would give me a refund as my item was now on back order after waiting for 3 weeks having originally been told it was on the shelf.
Now ordered with lings who seem much better and have super website with exploded diagrams of engine and have always previously had items in stock. I only changed because of price but just shows you get what you pay for.... Oh hang on you dont get anything with youngs......

I have had a similar problem with Youngs'.
They were retaining an order for more than 1 month (although it was already paid) but gave no explanations, even though I contacted them several times.
As I passed from asking for info to complains and threats, they sent me a partial order and refunded the rest.
I believe they do not know what customer service is. It is so easy to answer an e-mail.
Even though they have the best prices, and as for "service kits" and engine parts they are much more reliable than others. I have had terrible problems with a spanish supplier, "La Nautica".

Refund
Actions
How long did you wait for a refund? I contacted Youngs today tolds me 5 days to get a refund. I paid by paypal, they said they have to transfer money to thier paypal account to refund.
I'll give it to mid week then open up a case with paypal.
you wonder why people have a web store if they wont service it?
Andy

Andy.
Its been 4 days now. I paid by credit card so shouldn't have to wait for paypal. Im going to give a few more days before i call yet again.
If no Joy then its an email to mastercard.
A very poor service.
Also from my experience of paypal its instant to give a refund from when i have sold bits or bought bits. They simply hit the "refund" button so to tell you they have to wait to transfer money seems another fob off to me.

Hi
we are honwave dealers and will have online ordering for all accessories in about 2-3 months time. Until then feel free to use the old fashioned way and simply call us if you need anything!.

Ive had exactly same problem re:supply honda accessories/service/refunds from Youngs- gave up after 6 weeks- stupid of me to wait so long-ordered more locally(bit more expensive) and arrived within 5 days.
