honwave t40

Hi just been out on 2nd trip , was a bit chopy and just wanted to know if it is normal to get a clicking noise from alloy floor, as this did not happen when it was flat calm hope someone can help .thanks

Hi max,

The floor on mine clicks if it's a bit choppy. Tends to do it more/creak if I haven't got the keel inflated fully, that valve needed tightening a bit on mine so the noise got worse as the the day would go on.

I think It's just the slats moving a bit as the floor flexes.

Hi matt thanks for that will check pressure and see how it goes , got the docking armes on trailer now , loads better.

Excellent, finally hoping to use mine for the first time since I fitted my docking arms this weekend.

The boat has been more of a garage ornament for the last month or so with this crappy weather!

Hi yes the floor used to creak quite loudly on mine, when pivoting on top of a wave,better when keel and tubes pumped up to correct pressure, was fine on calmer days, the cure was to buy a rib.
