I might buy a cheap Zodiac, should I?

Couldn't find much info on a 94 17.5 Zodiac but ran across this forum while looking. Model 4375 - XDC 00533 M781, I guess it holds air, might get it for a few hundred. I currently have a 22' jet boat I'm putting a new engine in and I thought this might run the river ok with a outboard jet and go places I would be worried taking my big boat. If you guys can share any info you might have on this and whether I should even buy an inflatable this old I would be really appreciative. Thanks.

About 15yrs ago I owned a Zodiac which was 30yrs old at the time and in perfect condition with many years left in it. However it was Hypalon material and the glued seams on those often outlasts the seams on the newer PVC models. I assume the one you're considering is a Grand Raid and I'm not sure if they were always Hypalon or changed at some point. Hopefully someone that knows for sure will be along soon.
