I now have a SIB and RIB

Love my SIB, takes me back 35 years to when I was learning the boating ropes, now my two boys get to do the same. Can't wait!

I've also joined this elite group of ribnobbers that own a rib AND sib....

Although, I see your rib is a bit special (I only own a 4.5m Avon Adventure), I recently bought a cheap 2.3m sib with a 2hp air cooled honda.

Soooo much fun on a £5 of petrol on my local river with the kids. Much less stressful than the whole launch/recover/tides/weather of the rib.

Happy.

Which one do you like best, is the idea to have just one, which sizes and engine HP are both ?

I plan to only have one, but only because I have gone to the dark side and boat a hard sided boat. But I couldn't go cold turkey.... The SIB is a tender.

The rib is 6.5M and has a 150hp, the SIB is 2.6M was a 4hp - I guess I'll like the latter more than the former, but the SIB has yet to touch the water

I also have a Rib and a Sib, And have to seem to use the Sib more often. Hassle free launching, plus when the sea is too rough for using the Rib. I can use the Sib in sheltered
estuary bass fishing.
