Inflatable Toy Towing

I have seen video footage of an outfit identical to mine towing an inflatable toy with a youngster on it.
Is this really feasible with a SIB and 20hp motor>
My transom currently has a pair of what look like towing eyes fitted to the inside of the transom so, a bridle, tow rope and toy could be an option if it is not going to strain the guts of the poor thing occasionally.
Any advice gratefully received.

Inflatable Toy Towing

Shouldn't be a problem at all. We tow toys and knee boards behind our 3.5 Zodiac and 20hp with ease. Honwaves have meaty transoms as well. Just fit some towing eyes on the back of transom. Try to mount fairly high to keep tow rope clear of water, although this puts more strain on the poor old transom! I also use a cable bridle with sliding float... better for keeping clear of prop! Have fun.
