inflatable wanted

After reading many of the comments hear i quite fancy a 380 areodeck Bombard or failing that a 340 Quicksilver or Zodiac.
I only have a 10hp tohatsu, but there is only ever two of us.
Any one in the southwest got one of these for sale ?

The 3.4m Quicksilver Airdeck goes very nicely with a 10HP.

Do you have the budget for a new one if it has a bit of RIB.net discount?

The 380 suggested by Nick on the link looks in good condition, the price seems ok, don't know the cost of a new one including trailering wheels. A 10 Hp will be a poor performer, forget about planing with more mates, maybe 2 or just you alone.

Have not specified number stroke of your Tohatsu engine, if it were a 2 stroke 9.9 model/10 in some countries will be exactly the same as a 15 HP. That is both have same 247 cubic displacement, read valve, gear ratio, weight, & crank case, looking at the service manual the only apparently difference is a different code part inlet manifold, throttle arm/roller for the 9.9 & 10 respectively. Is a simple part engine conversion.

Ask your local Toh dealer for parts/hand labor price quote for converting your 10 to 15 Hp so to have more power available.

Happy Boating

Unfortunatly mine is the 9.8, the main reason for buying it was it was the lightest around, it has to be man handled in and out of my campervan ( boat goes on the rack )
Bigger engine would ne nice but I would end up with a hernia.
Looks like I will have to go for a max of 3.4
So any good reasonably priced air deck 3.4 about ?

Tohatsu 9.8 is a nice alternative beteween small and mid range portables with only 26 Kg weight. There's a great difference between 9.8 & 9.9 in weight & power.

A Quicksilver 340 air deck would be a good practical choice alternative to match your camper life & 9.8 engine.

Happy Sibbing
