ISB Killer Whale 10.8, Another Newbie Thread (SIB)

Hey everyone, I'm looking to purchase my first boat for shore/offshore fishing here in California, and the Inflatable Sports Boat Killer Whale, has caught my eye... Mostly because I have $1,000 in Amazon credit.

https://inflatablesportboats.com/pro...er-whale-10-8/

The problem, I'm having is that I can't find a ton of first hand experience about it on the internet. My original plan was to go with a well known brand like Zodiac & purchase a Zodiac Cadet 350.

Does anyone know about the ISB Killer Whale? I would much rather burn my wallet on a smart purchase rather than cut corners here.

I would be purchasing a 9.9 Tohatsu with either selections. Thanks!

I don’t know anything about that brand but my 2 cents are:
I’d almost always prefer to buy a decent used, branded product. For why? Durability, sea handling and resale. A lot of second hand outfits If a decent brand will potentially resell for same or similar money when you inevitably decide you need a ‘bigger boat’ [emoji23]

Agree with Iankristy. Also, you have no idea how long they will be around to honor any warranty claims.
You should be able to find a name brand or decent brand for similar pricing. That doesn't sound like a crazy a deal. A comparable Zodiac is not much more money.
Inmar is based on the west coast that is a reputable brand as well and similar pricing to Zodiac. No affiliation other than a friend just boat one and it looks like a nice well made boat.

I didn't even think of the resale component, and you guys are totally right. I think I'll go with a proven brand for my first go at this. Thanks guys!
