We used the pontoon a few times having launched at the slipway. I totally forget but there may have been an honesty box and if so I'd have dropped something in it.
Just looked it up... £5 daily for casual dinghy use paid by an envelope in secure box system... that's probably what we used.
Thanks David
Planning is best done when in solitude and confirmed the next morning with my better half.
Hi again Steve..it took me a few days to get the video made but here it is and I make no apology that it is 30 minutes long..it deserves it ... as the scenery is some of the best in Scotland. It should give you a good flavour of what you are letting yourself in for
Hi Donnie, a video of 30 mins must be given the respect it deserves.
I shall watch it a little later this evening on a larger screen and let the beauty unfold whist sipping something a little malty
Supurb video Donnie, whetted my appetite even more
Hopefully, weather permitting, I'll be on the water a week today.
A question Donnie - Are you not keen on fish, or is it too early in the year for mackerel, pollack etc?
We are getting things ready for the off first thing Tuesday morning, and naturally I'm getting Redneck and the outboard ready and all the associated things you have got to do when going on a boating & walking holiday. I'm in my own world feeling happy when I hear "this holidays not just about the bloody boat you know". Sorry love I say, I'll get on with the other stuff now.
So I was a bit surprised at her reaction an hour later when I told her I'd cleaned the wetsuit boots and reproofed her boating jacket, she was well pizzed off!
Overnight stop at Loch Lomand before moving onto Morvich and Loch Duich tomorrow. I hope the weather late this afternoon at Loch Lomond is a sign of things to come for the rest of the holiday.
As a side thought, Loch Lomond appears to be a great place to take a SIB or a RIB, maybe next year
