lakes

hi , does anyone know any lakes in the yorkshire region or close where you can take a boat out for a bit of fun, thanks

dont think there are any except for private lakes set aside for water skiing jet skiing or sailing such as one near near halifax or sheffield rotherham. only public ones i can think of are the lake district but think they now have 10 mph speed limits on them .its a pity for the amount of large amounts of dams and lakes that yorkshire has but most are for drinking purposes or dont have any access roads to them ,
