Launch Wheels - Any try these?

Has anyone tried these wheels on their boat? Thinking about them for a Fastroller 340 + Tohatsu 9.8 4-stroke

My concern is that you need to mount them low on the transom and possibly overlapping some PVC, is this an issue?

Here's a very quick video on how they snap in

(recd your pm but answered here)

I know folks who have found there is a weakness in that type you show where the bracket opens out due to the twisting force of the wheel... with the risk the wheel will come off so they wouldn't be my first choice.

Lots of folks have lots of different wheel types on different SIBs amd most seem to be happy with them but from my experience there are only two types I'd fit.

If you are happy to remove/fit at each launch/recover (as I am) I would use the Zodiac type...

This is the lighter duty pair totally suited to your outfit... they also do a heavier duty set (ones I use) for larger outboards.

If ones that stay on and flip up would suit you better these are the type I'd buy... made by Trem and great quality with high strength.....

You will notice both types I'd pick spread the load across two points on the transom for far better strength.

RIBase
I have these on my new F-Rib, not used in anger yet as boat only arrived this week :-)
I must say that my brackets look thicker and stronger than in your pictures. Very quick to fit and remove and when fitted in the up position they sit snugly under the pvc splash guard.
