You will have absolutely no problem with parking large camper this time of year (no overnight parking), you need to go to Knoll beach car park for SIB launch. Think they close main car park as of first of Oct and launch will be difficult after that.

They wont allow any outboards over 20hp

Thanks for the info Budgie1

Looks a touch windy on the forecast for Saturday

But weather gods playing their part, these two combined should make for a good day out with the kids..

You won't have access to the ramp unless you have the gate code which is changed regularly. Launching off the beach will be fine if you don't mind getting sandy obviously.

See this post for best place to park and launch.
No problem with over 20hp, nobody will ever check.

Hi I agree with the above, I have launched my 4.25m RIB with a 60hp outboard 4 times in 2013 from the knowl beach slipway, they have never asked or paid any attention to the size of the engine and on 2 occasions there has been other boats launching with engines above 30hp too!

The slipway is a little steep but knowl beach is great.

As for parking the camper there is loads of room, the car park doesn't open officially till about 8am, however the 'out' gate is open much earlier by the toilet cleaner and both he and the people in the office say no problem coming in early as long as the gate is open!

Parking costs £10.00 a day but if you join the national trust for £45.00 its free!
Also as previously said, it says no overnight parking without permission, however the 4 times I went in 2013 I asked if we could stay overnight and they allowed us with no problems.

Its a great place with a great attitude, Im glad the national trust are changing for the better!
