Lidl bargains
Just seen they had some dual action stirrup type air pumps for a fiver - yes £5. I have one and they are excellent - will shift enough air to work on my big RIB!!!

Good grief C-P!
Has your disillusionment with British Retail driven you into the arms of those Teutonic Traders? Will your pride and joy be properly inflated when puffed up with a German Gadget?

It's not a German product - and it's a loss leader so I am actually damaging their profits!!!
Some of the hardware in Lidels is pretty good - the food is recycled toxic waste.
A mate of mine once made me a cup of tea using lidel's tea bags - they were a new invention - waterproof tea bags - after 10 mins the water was still crystal clear!!!

I dont agree with that .. some of their cold meats are very good, next door we have a Tesco and even from their 'best' range .. Lidels ham is far nicer & better quality

Well it looks the same as the one I bought from the Range and that fits my Rib no problems. Had to get an adaptor for my quicksilver though.
And it's not a foot pump - 100x better!!!

'ANGLO SAXON'... loose translation... 'ENGLISH GERMAN'.Just a shame WE forgot how to make things!Germany still THE biggest exporting nation in the world[yes bigger than the U.S or China!] so they must be doing something right!! As long as they dont start exports of the 1914/1939 variety we should be ok!Still reckon the BEST of 'British stacks up against anybody!!

Whatever I said - I'm sorry now. To continue your theme though - they've been exporting Royalty since 1840: "Albert, wilt thou have this woman to be thy wedded wife?" and "Victoria, wilt thou have Albert to be thy wedded husband?" and "Who giveth this woman to be married to this man?"
To this last question the Duke of Sussex replied by taking the queen's hand and saying, "I do." Perhaps some in the assembly may have smiled when the Queen of England promised to obey this younger son of a German Duke, and when he said, "With all my worldly goods I thee endow." The queen tells us, however, that she pronounced the word obey with a deliberate intent to keep her vow, and that she kept it.
I was going to make a point round about here - but I've forgotten it.....

Got one of these today, they are great much faster than the zodiac foot pump, which made pumping up the air floor on my futura next to impossible. The pump may well be from Eindhoven? but the airs from England
