Loch Ken - landing at Crossmichael

Off early tomorrow to Loch Ken in SW Scotland. Rapaired my SIB so I have just got to go for 3 days and test it.
I will be staying in my motorhome further up the Loch, coming down in my SIB and would like to know if the public can land at Crossmichael or is it private?
Thanks for any info

Not sure if it's "Private" .....But pretty damn sure you'll get in somewhere and be
unmolested!
Have a good one!
And post some pics!

RIBase
Crossmichael is an activity centre that has all the usual services. Give them a phone but I don't think you'll have any problems. As Maximus says take plenty pics.

if your coming down the loch past loch ken holiday park to cross Michael be very careful iv done it a few times last time took a chunk out of my prop .loch ken is basically a flooded river dee .there is a few areas where even when the waters high there's less than six inches of water as you go over underwater dry stone walls ect as you pass the camp site stay within the red green buoys I have seen a few boats come a cropper going out side opposite side to the campsite there is a large wall just under the surface that actually shows nearly a foot when the waters really low. Just before cross Michael was where I damaged my prop I was in the middle but a local said you have to be nearer the port side bank as there is a deeper channel where the river used to run. oh and the thistle pub is under new management and the food is excellent
