Maxi Marine Lifters

I hear a lot of good things (and some really bad older post) about Maxi Marine Lifters. I am new to SIBs (not new to boating) and just bought a heavy duty 385 SIB with a new 20hp Tohatsu.

Are they worth considering and do they work as advertised. Ho they help smooth out some of the bay chop? (not expecting miracles but every little bit helps keeping the fillings in, LOL)

Thanks!

They are just big trim tabs. Smart tabs do the same job but are much more conveniently sized. They work well for issues with trim and getting on the plane but will do little to help with chop - you need a bigger boat / deeper v for that
