Maximum load on the plane

going to scotland for 4 weeks inner hebrides, usually just 1or 2 in boat but family wil be coming up, so would be good to know whats the most weight you carry and still plane? with aerotec 380 + new yamaha 15hp 2 stroke with 9in std pitch prop and will take 8in,

earlyier visit I saw a family with 4mtr honwave ally floor yam 20hp 2 st on plane every day
loaded to the gullets, equipment, people, dogs, more eqip etc etc had to see to believe it.
Will your 15hp 2st carry and plane a good load.
cheers graham

I would think it would still plane with about 40 stone on board. I've got a HonWave 4m and it has a staggeringly efficient hull, ours planes with over 70 stone on board and an old 20hp !!

Plane with 70 stone sounds fun LLpirate,
My boat mostly has me only 15 stone, would be happy to plane with 40 stone load.
4mt honwave + 20 yamaha looks to be a great combination.
cheers graham

My 3.3m airdeck will plane at 15 mph at 3/4 throttle with my 9.8 2S with
Me
Wifey
2 x kids
10 litres fuel
Picnic
Seat bag full of boaty stuff

Some passenger weight shifting helps get it up when loaded.
