Mercury 3.5hp 4stroke prop

I'm going to adjust the angle of the outboard first, couldn't do it while in the water (jammed) but now noticed its at the extreme of its setting, and my 2.5 is one notch in, but the 3.5 definitely seems to have enough power, but just starts to cavitate just as it starts to plane, also just noticed my 2.5 Yam has an alloy prop, which seems a much better shape, so may try to swap them
