My Korsar Komandor

Hi! I'm novice at this site. I would like telling about my favorite inflatable boat. Recently, I bought inflatable boat(no rigid), because I haven't a lot of money for a rib. But I want my boat looks like a real rib with console and steering system and etc! I have tried making it. So, I have done! What do you think about?

Looks very nice to me, is it all russian made.

What sort of stuff are you using it for.

Aren't there sub-zero temperatures in Moscow at this time of year.

Yes, it's all russian made! I made use of plywood for building my console. Unfortunately, a temperature in Moscow is +2. It's impossible for our winter! No skying, snowboarding and etc. I haven't seen the sun for a long time! It's terrible.
Andrew.

Is it a large lake you have to zip around. The boat certainly looks suited to the waters your using.
What make is the engine ? And how fast can it go ?

The large lake's name is Seliger. It's very nice lake. My engine's make is Neptun 23hp. It's a Russian outboard. My boat with the engine can to go 25 knots.

Andrew.

Nice sib indeed.
Perhaps you can gives us some background info of ribbing in Russia. Also how did you find our forum.
There are a few Russian members on this forum but I think you are the first to have actually posted a photo of your boat. Keep them coming this is an international forum.

Yeeees! It's my favorite sport! I have known about rib.net from google. When I have opened this site I have been impressed. Many people from other countries was interested in ribbing so and I. Super! The first, I have liked a Scorpion's ribs. I visited www.actionboat.dk and saw rib's console. It's a nice military style. I decide building like this. And... I made it.

Re: Korsar Komandor

Welcome to the forum Andrew, it is a nice looking boat you have. I like the color combination. Good job on the console. Please post additional pictures of the interior layout of your boat when time allows. Some pictures of the local scenery would be nice as well. We do not have anyone from Russia posting pictures on this forum so keep it up.

Sorry Andrew that makes even less sense. Surely the whole of Russia isn't water.

Hi! Some words about Russian ribbing... Yes, ribs is very nice boats, but in Russia they isn't populate. A rib price in Russia isn't very small(10000$ - minimum) and I can to purchase a cabin hardboat for 10000$! Taking into account our weather I think that is right choice.
And Where and How can I keep a rib if I live in very big town like Moscow? In my flat? Then I have the inflatable boat which I can taking a pieces.

It's the same price gap here-Ribs are expensive compared with hardboats.

Why do you have a RIB? Why did you choose only RIB? What is rib's advantages as compared with hardboat? Why do you like a RIB?

Because I can do THIS and survive it

We would have sunk if we'd been in a hardboat.
