My Sib

Hi Guys, relatively new to this forum and thought I would share with you a picture of my craft. Been out a few times and with the 15 4 stroke on the back she zips across the water at a fair rate of knots.
Cheers
Tom.

Looks great. Which size is it? Where you based? Can you get them in the uk? Looks mean in black, looks more police than safety.

Think they are sold on eBay? Nice looking SIB but you must need to watch the tube pressure in hot sun!

Thats an Xpro Commando. Seaswift used to supply them and they still sell a few - I bought one of their Xpro Defender ribs a couple of years ago.

You get quite a bit of kit with the Xpro, such as bags and sliding seats, but it wont be much of an upgrade from the Quicksilver from a ride and handling perspective.

My personal favourite is the Bombard Commando C4. It still has an alu floor but with a deeper V than many of its rivals. The V continues to the transom whereas many are flat, giving better ride and handling. It also takes a massive 50hp!!

The Bombard Aerotec appears to be the reference for airfloor Sibs, if you want to move away from alu floors.

The Quicksilver is air floor and would like to stay with them, I want something that I can manage to roll up and lift into car and to suit a 9.8hp,
I will only be fishing upto a mile of shore.
