My Sibbing in Scotland
I've decided to use my Sib and outboard through the winter when the weather permits, I have a good dry suit from my Kayak fishing days that I can put to good use, another thing that's come in handy since purchasing my outfit is my Vauxhall Vivaro day Van conversion, it swallows up the Sib and outboard with all that extra equipment you need, in sure I would have managed in my previous Vehicles, mainly estate Cars, but the Vans certainly a blessing.

Great images, Scotland always delivers. It's been too long since we were there and that must be addressed before much more time has passed.
Going back three years ago we bought a Mercedes Viano (with the seating and table etc in the rear) to use as a boating kit carrier and day van. Great fun for those uses but soon circumstances at the time meant the majority of its use was as a car running about locally with just me in it. Too heavy on fuel and too much of a lump as a local daily driver.

I think a Car and decent size box trailer would work okay for Sibbing what do you think?

Before the Viano we'd had roomy estate cars but "downshifting" after the Viano looked carefully for the next motor. We ended up with an S-Max which has the size and several features that make it an ideal sibbing car. We can get in the 3.8 sib, outboard, transom wheels, bow trolley, two fuel tanks and all the other kit while retaining seating for five.

Wow that's some space in the S-Max, well if I didn't have my Van I certainly couldn't borrow the Wife's Car, she drives a Mini 😁
