Whilst I don't want to Diss the bravo pumps, I'm sure they are good pumps generally.
The force 4 one with in built battery digital reading and even a light on it for when you get back and it's dark is exceptional value.
By the time you buy a bravo for 100 quid then 30 quid for a battery, chuck 15-20 more quid in and you have a much more compact and useable solution.

Personally I feel that anything above €50,- is impressive money for the simple electronics involved but hey what do I know…

I’ll maybe go for the bravo from the boat dealer in the end since the force 4 one is not available overhere.
Did notice that the force 4 one is something branded under different names though.

Tonight I’m going to deflate and redo the setup off the boat and we will go for its maiden voyage tomorrow.

After viewing the YouTube clip from Wazzanjnr again, I see you have way more space to get in the floorboards. I’ll take some photos tonight from the difficult points from setup.

Looking forward to get is wet tomorrow. We will go with our kid 1,5 and 3,5 so it will be a short an simple trip on a local river. But excited anyway!

Both! It’s digital and no display and doesn’t start

(Anyway just a tad of a thread hijack)

Wow major difference and succes in setting up the boat this afternoon.

Took me ages less and did not have to hold a wrestling match with the boat to fit the stringers. (With R ;-) )
The biggest improvement was the stringer topic. Inflating the keel gave clearance on the bottom and they went in like a charm. No actual force needed.

The bottom plates fitted easier as well. The dealer thought all could be also due to the fact that is was brand new last time.

The only thing I’m not satisfied with is the bow.
I’ll upload a photo a little later.

This is the bow situation.
Despite blowing the keel quite hefty and hard it forms an odd V shape in the bow.
The valve sits nicely aligned in the middel of the board, but when all floorboards are in, this shifts quite a bit to, almost making the valve go partly away.

Any tips on this bit?

The above strange bow bottom plates solved itself today with the first outing. We spent the morning on the local canal behind our house. Used the tilt trailer to launch the boat without ramp! All successful and the kids and dog enjoyed the water.

Post some photos later!

The 20 HP outboard was delivered last week at the dealer and I was finally able to pick it up today. It's brand new and it put it on the boat quickly. Can't wait to go out again....

Took the new motor out for it's first spin.
This is half throttle:

Very happy and impressed with the ease of use.
The outboard is very acceptable in it's noise and look just sharp

The merc certainly looks good, hopefully there's a fair bit more top end speed to come from it.

In regards to Bravo pumps, mine went well for the first two years with my old rib and has now been handed down to my daughter for her rib, both with bigger tube sets than your vessel.

Hi Jon, Thanks! I've clocked the top speed at 39 KM/H with 2 adults and one 1,5 year old. My daughter, the 1,5 year old, was really excited at top speed!!
