Just added a Sea Search 4.2m air keel ally floor to the fleet thanks to Peter at Boatsandoutboards.
Now need a standard shaft 25hp 2 stroker with tiller.Any help in sourcing a suitable engine would be appreciated.Thanks.

I have a tohatsu 25hp 2 stroke 2006 model and think it is a fantastic engine with plenty of punch!

Ok I will take it!!!!!

Was thinking of budgeting £1500 but that is not set in stone for right engine!!

£3000 and you can have it

You should be able to get a fairly modern one for that. I might even consider selling mine because I want to join the searider club. If you would be interested you can PM me. It is a 2006 so the most modern you can get legally in this country.

At that budget I'd keep talking to Peter...he will find one..it may just take time (even for him). I hadn't used the 25 I got from him for three months...started first pull last weds :-)

yes the 2 strokes do tend to fire up pretty quickly, thats what I love about them. YOu feel like you can do anything with them.
