thanks that's great I would love to go out with you just let me know when your going cheers
I went over to the tees barrage the other day and had a chat to a guy but he didn't seem very helpful at all , I was hoping to use the slipway but he said I need to register and have insurance , I don't mind doing that but is there any other red tape I have to dal with before I can get on the tees
thanks

The Tees Barrage isn't too much of a pain once you have done the spade work, it took me about ten minutes to register and give them a copy of my insurance certificate, after that you just call in pay the man and away you go!
My only advice would be to go steady until you are past the two yacht clubs, apparently they can get a bit uppity if they 'consider' that you are breaking the speed limit. I am sure that the chaps at the barrage will tell you that and unofficially say that you can 'let rip' after you are out of sight......
