Old Zodiac sib floor query

Hi, I have what I believe is an old Zodiac Mark II with a 4-section aluminum floor and a wooden bow piece.
I don't know if the 2 plastic pieces of the bow piece that are attached to the fixed wooden piece go up or down. If anyone can help me, since once the bow is flat, it sinks into the water. What could be the problem? I have it with an 18 hp Seanovo engine. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Pictures would help us better understand what you are trying to explain.

The wooden bow board should be installed at the same time as the board behind it. My former zodiac didn't have any plastic pieces for the bow board.

Admin note: I've tidied your query into this one thread.

My old Zodiac had an all wooden floor but here is an image below which might help. If not, as Peter says above, a photo of yours would help explain your situation.

What year is this boat? I don't remember any plastic pieces on the wooden board specifically, but there are plastic profile pieces on the aluminium section. They follow the contours of the side stringers, so you'll know which way is up if the stringer flows into them. If these are the plastic bits you're talking about, then they don't move. Pics would help clear it up though.

l have a 2009 Zodiac with a 5 piece wooden floor, and the front section of floor angles upwards to the bow, when it is installed.

l don't know if that's what you were asking. l find it's necessary to stand on the floor at this point in order to locate it properly when inflating the boat.
