This later deal on the Excel could involve a trade of my Zodiac 240 tender package in bag with all the bits.

I only really need the one boat for this particular set up. Decisions etc. Any one chip in?
Thanks
I've looked on Boatworlds website, can't see any 320 @ £500.

No, this is a private sale that is an unwanted gift. Normally they go for anywhere between £675 -£850.

I can refuse it really.

And it will go really really well with Yam 15 hp on such outings.

I've been reading this thread with interest for a few days and despite understanding fully where Ken is coming from as someone myself who's SIB is their only boat I'm leaning towards Steve's advice.

My thoughts are somewhat in line with the last couple of posts from daijinks.

I have a 9.8hp 2-stroke that weighs the same as his excellent 8hp Yamaha and previously owned a 4hp as well. The 4 and 8 aren't worlds apart on ease of handling unlike going from these sizes say up to a 20hp. And a 3m ish SIB isn't that much worse to handle both packed and inflated than a 2.4m. So I would sell the 2.4 and 4hp then put those funds to the money you were going to spend on a used SIB and but a new Boatworld 3m V air floor, Honwave style/design but cheaper and 99% as good.

Decent price at £795, looks nice, Boatworld are decent guys to deal with and it only weighs 32kg which is so easy too manage.

Yes selling the zodiac 240 on, is what I will do. Its perhaps 2 years old and hardly been used and is a great little package all in a bag for any close in sea outing or river.

I went and bought the new 320 Boatworld anyway but its the flat air deck not the V floor. But at £500 new in the boxed package, I ain't ever gonna complain.

Just need the fishing add ons now for the all round set up.

Will post in future of its use with both the 8 and the 15.

Thanks all.

It would be good if you could post a compete review of your thoughts about the Boatworld 320 when you've had it out on the water a few times. I think the more real world reviews on Ribnet the better for all of us.
