Part of the SIB club now
Taken the plunge and ordered a Honwave 4m with Ally floor.
Picked up a 15hp Yamaha 2 stroke to go with it as well.
I'll be keeping it on the Isles of Scilly to use during our holidays. I would have liked a bigger outboard, but I'll be dragging it up beaches etc on a regular basis, and wanted to keep the weight down.
I'll upgrade the engine/Honwave later if we feel we need to. There are only the 2 of us.
I was looking at Ribs/Hardboats and hired one last time we were there, but I missed just running up to a beach, pulling the boat up the beach and returning when ever we wanted.
7 weeks until we are back on the Islands. Can't wait.
