Pembrokeshire

Hi all, I'm off back to Pembrokeshire in a couple of weeks and plan trips out on the Cleddau as there are a couple of places I didn't manage to explore last time. I also plan to beach launch around Saundersfoot and Tenby if weather & tide play ball.
There are a few other places I fancy launching from, Dale, Solva and/or Porthclais. I know very little about them apart from what I've read on t'internet and old forum posts. Any info will be gratefully received. 3.65 sib, 20hp, transom wheels and/or trailer launch.
Thanks, Steve.

I launched from here last year in my aerotec. Easy enough to do. Parked at the top of the slip to inflate and setup then parked the van in the nearby car park. No charge for the slip and they was happy for me to launch.

Great area with Skokhom and Skomer around the corner and a decent estuary to explore if the seas not playing ball, the, can get lively around there.

Thanks tinker, I know the upper part of the estuary pretty well but I don't know around Dale (only visited for 20 mins or so last time) and it certainly wasn't the sea conditions were you'd want visit Skomer.
Is there anywhere to park a trailer once you've launched? I have read that you can't park trailers in the carpark.

I never trailered, set up out the back of a van. The car park was quite relaxed though amd plenty of places to reverse over verges with a trailer, to stay in the space. I'm sure there was a free to use car park further out of Dale on the road in.

Looks like there space here as well

I'm bumping this as the launch location I'm really interested in is Solva. Has anyone launched a sib/small rib from Solva? Any advice gratefully received.
