Is there supposed to be any type of deck/floor in front of the thrust board? I have the aluminum floor.

Yes, otherwise the thrust board will tear out. There is a wood bow board.

Your floor should have 3 aluminum sections, and two wooden ones in the bow. The first is trapezoidal, and the foremost one is triangular. I don't think any should be glued in. There is an extruded channel connecting the wooden ones, with a similar profile to the tongue and groove ends of the aluminum sections.
Its not a FC470, so that manual won't apply.

F470 roll up models don't have a bow board. NAVIC-P variant if memory services?

Rigid floor models will show the bow board.

I'll try to send a pic for you.
You need stringers too, to hold it all together.

Ok thanks for the info, mine has the 3 aluminum floor plates as well as the 2 stringers that go along the sides of them. the thrust board is about 6-8" wide and glued into the front portion where the bow starts. it is a 1986 model I am away from home for a few days and can post more pictures then if that helps

I have no idea about this "thrust board" you mention, and there isn't one on mine. Unless you are referring to the bow floor section (1 in Fig. 4). Its my understanding that it isn't glued in, (mine isn't) though I'm not familiar with the earliest versions of that boat. It may just be fused into place from having the boat sitting for so long.
I tried to keep those files as small as possible. If you have trouble viewing them I can enlarge them for you, or email bigger ones.
