Iwould prefer something bigger,But as my first venture in boating its ok plus it all fits in the yaris it will plane with 2 up but you have to shift about a bit to do its top speed at the mo is 13mph on the gps with 2 people and other stuff on board.

Heres a few of the Smaller Nashers Zodiac and 4HP Merc XR0.2

As I can't leave anything alone, I've converted it to an Air deck.

Total cost buying used and using elbow grease stands at under £200, its great fun for them and me. They love it and ferry us back and forth to the anchored bigger boats when we're in Devon.

Them in it, me being taken for a run by little Nasher my youngest, etc.

Sorry about the quality of the images.

Nasher.

That's great Nasher,
I've just talked my wife into letting the kids come out with me. Can't wait! Nothing like spending quality time with them as well as still getting afloat

Serenity (new to me 3 days ago)

This is the only pic I have so far of Serenity. She's currently lavishing in my sitting room undergoing a leak test. You can tell the missus if you want, I divorced her about 30 years ago.

Serenity is a Quicksilver QS300 but I have no idea how old she is. I also have Selva 15HP 2 stroke to coax her along once we hit ra watter.

I'm new here and to SIB's, I'm currently switching from SOT kayaks to my wee SIB. I did have a little Avon RIB a long time ago but that was a joke.

Nice to meet y'all.

Hi Nasher - when you were getting the SIB for the youngsters where did you start looking? I'm hoping to do the same so have just started looking for a cheap 2nd hand SIB and wonderered if you could give me any pointers as to where to start? I'll be at Ribex in a few weeks so I guess there'll be a few new ones there, but I'd prefer 2nd hand as it'll be a lower risk if the kids trash/sink it!
Thanks
Trevor
