No the fool nearly hit both of us 2 ribs cruising then just missed another boat . He didn't even see us , He just missed the stern of my mates rib then i had to slow and turn quickly to go behind him . He just suddenly made a run for the inside of the breakwater and had his back to us as he sat at the tiller . I shouted as i went past and he didn't even seem to hear . It was windy and a bit rough with lots of spray it must of been hell in a sib and they all had hoods up . he narrowly missed another boat shortly afterwards . 2 or 3 kids and 2 adults in the sib .
was a bit of a day really with a complete knob blocking the slipway when we launched then got back to find the same ignorant idiot trying to recover

Shouted at him at top of my voice from about 10metres away and he was totally oblivious to anything going on around him . Should have chased him and had a word really i suppose , but i would have had to follow until he stopped i think .
He did have a lucky escape , my mate commented that he really thought he was going to hit him .
The weather was horrible easterly and lots of spray , my sunglasses and hat were helping a lot but i think without that it must have been quite blinding in a sib with it on his front quater

Pointless exercise talking to guys like that. Same on the roads you will witness stupidity and reckless behaviour. Unless you are a traffic cop on the road or harbourmaster etc they have no obligation to listen to you so the only thing you can do is maintain a good lookout and avoid collisions. Don't stress over these numpties.
