Quicksilver 430HD & Zodiac futura

Right, Here's the plan...I'm gonna buy a Quicksilver 430HD, with a 30/40hp engine, I'm thinking of putting seats in it, similar to the Zodiac futura mark 2, or else make a unit to house my VHF, Battery, GPS... I'm looking for photos of your quicksilver boats (430HD if possible) and Zodiac boats also pics of seats and steering units, the more pics the better! post or email them to me andreworiordan@gmail.com thanks a million. will post my progress of my boat as soon as i get it. Thanks again!

quicksilver 430

In my opinion the 430 qs is not viable i have had 5 inflatables sibs over the last few years and the qs was poor,
It was rubbish in anything choppy due to inadequate bracing of the boards, the boards delaminated, after a week!!!! the fabric was so poor it marked everytime we came along side even with care, we only had 9.9 on the transom but it still kinked as the power came on.

Also had lots of tries in the zodiac, much better, goes well and is designed for speed, better layout internally and much more suited to surf situations, just a shame about the cost.

search this forum for 'SIBs' . Lotsa of good information out there. One manufacturers idea of 'heavy duty' can be quite different from anothers.
