Removable / quick release transom wheels

Hi all. I've just got myself a yam 2hp as an aux motor. But I have nowhere to put it as I have transom wheels. I'm sure I've seen some that simply stretch using a wing nut through the two holes at the top of the transom on each side. Would whip one off, mount aux then reverse for landing. I may be able to use a wing nut on my existing ones to make removal tool less but wondered if there are any other options out there.

Are you asking if you can fold one up to store it, and take the other off so the aux engine can be left in place? If so yes, although I would recommend tethering it if removing over deeper water.

Yes that's correct. Most things are tethered in my boat for that reason!! I've ordered some stainless wing nuts so will see how I get on with them. I can't see why it wouldn't work! I would prefer the zodiac ones but didn't realise they would be that expensive!
