Re the arch on Butercup66's boat. Personal thing but I've owned and have an eye for a classic old Hypalon Zodiac/Avon... and that just looks wrong.

No just a wire brush attachment on a drill, they wouldn't budge before hand , someone had painted them with hammerite before me

Light coat of hammerite and plenty of grease, nothing fancy, what about you?

I found they had worn quite large holes in the ply where they were fixed, I thought about moving them over slight to new holes but I just extended them to take up the slack, I figured after 30 years they had lasted fairly well and I always have the option in the future
