rubber strake to pvc

what glue do you recommend for glueing rubber strake to pvc need to bond some on the bottom web of the seat holder as the nuts on these in rough bouncy seas grate on the fabric i have had this problem on all 3 bombards i have owned and bombard actually used this on my 420 with good success but dont know what glue the used

will the 2 part pvc glue do the job?

this is very common on these boats and bombard are aware of it, depends on the weight on the seat if two adults are on it then the nuts do alot of grating especially if your wave jumping
the rubber srake worked great on my 420 but as i say it went back to bombard so dont know how they bonded it
i want to now add it to both the 380`s its simple and effective

Here in USA the best glue is a 2 part PVC called STABOND the company that makes it is in California and their main distributor is NRS this is the link Stabond™ Adhesive at NRSweb.com you can contact them and see if they export, also they recommend MEK (methyl ethyl ketone ) for cleaning .

MEK seems to be all professionals choice for cleaning these boats. Real hard to get a hold of though, I have to buy 25 liters even if I want just one...

Isn't it possible to replace the nuts or turn the bolts upside down? I havent seen them though, I just thought that could be where you should do the work. Mine doesn't even have a seat.

Sorry if I created confusion, MEK is to clean the area that has to be glued not the hole boat, it is a very potent solvent and very hygroscopic so when it is used the humidity has to be 70% or lower with good ventilation but if is hard to come by in England acetone will do the job I think.
