Seat for quicksilver 380 hd

I bought my quicksilver 380 hd last year off eBay, and one of the things which was missing was the seat. I fancy having a go at making one, so would appreciate any advice along these lines including dimensions of the seat from any other quicksilver 380hd user.

Thanks in advance.

I've got the 430hd. Not sure if its the same beam though. They are just bits of ply so not hard to make. Having the proper brackets would make life easier but if not taking apart regularly then you could attach with anything like webbing etc. Barrus probably sell the brackets. Good luck

The brackets are the main issue as they sit in the tube strops and we saw a home made version that was no way near stable enough on a 430

Thanks for the replies, sounds like a couple of brackets will be getting bought, and then a piece of marine ply for the seat. Any suggestions on what to paint or coat the ply with?
