and dont lose any of the thrust washers that goes between the the lock nut and prop or at the back of the prop if they are fitted.

And, grease everything up again while you've got the prop off.

Just take the spark plug leads with you. It will prevent teens to take it for a ride. If someone really wants to steal your boat - they'll do it whatever precaution steps you'll make But for that case you have insurance. Don't you?
