serial no

hi all where would i find the serial no for my boat for insurance as boat has been heavily painted over the years many thanks for any help

Bit of a late reply sorry.
Nearly all sib's I'd plate&numbers are found on the transom. Usually a aluminium plate riveted on.

serial no

If the aluminium plate is missing, often the manufacturer will stamp the serial number on the transom under the outboard pads, either outside or inside. Might be worth a look.

Edit: Sorry just noticed it's a Searider. My comment really only relevant to sibs. On ribs they often hide another hin plate somewhere else like under console etc.

On my Saturn I took off the aluminum motor plates to re-paint the transom. There was a VIN plate riveted under the plate as well as the one on the inside of the transom.
