Short trip out around weymouth bay.

Had a run out to white nothe area today, just along the coast from Weymouth bay,in the sib. Beautiful day, did a bit of bait drowning but not for long,as I was enjoying the blast around outside of Portland harbour too much to worry about the fishing. Managed a top speed of 19.6 knots at times.

Left Castletown around 11am, came back in around 2.30pm, just coming up to high tide so an easy haul out and up the ramp.

Had a run in with the warship that has been there for a while when coming back in Just as I was passing it decided to venture out of the harbour and I had to heave too to avoid getting in his way, thought I better not argue with that he has some tasty looking armament.

You will notice the pictures of the ship are all going away I thought I better not make it look too obvious that I was taking piccies.

and one of the Sib. at Castletown.

How nice it must be to be retired and live at the coast, to take advantage of the odd good day as they arrive, good photo's and wise to not be caught taking them

Yes, I am very lucky, we have only been living in Dorset around 8 months now, takes about 45mins to get to either Poole harbour or Portland so I have 2 choices of launch within easy reach.
It still feels like we are on holiday, have an ever diminishing list of pubs to try out and places to visit. Need to slow down or we will have run out of places to see.

Best thing we ever did. 1/ move to Dorset. 2/ buy the Bombard 380.
