SIB seating ideas??

I have a honwave t40 and I am after some seating ideas....
I have 3 young children who can’t sit comfortably on the bench seat, the best idea I have found is an inflatable camping chair which I put in front of the bench seat but was hoping for some better ideas 👍

What's wrong with the traditional way of sitting on the tubes, facing inwards, and holding the rope or grab handles provided for the purpose?

Kids are aged between 4-7 years old, want them sat more in the boat rather than on the boat for their safety

Not an easy one - been there - kids don't feel safe on tubes or seat as they cannot anchor their feet down properly. Best idea is Jeff's I think - get them low down 'in' the boat on some foam or whatever.

The inflatable boat seat is a good call. With kids as young as 4-7, there's no way you want them on the sponsons, even a little wave could throw them out as they can't anchor their feet yet.

Yep get a seat sorted to sit them inside the boat.

I have something like this.... https://www.compactwatercraft.co.uk/...-for-riverstar (give site a few moments to load its slow for me)

Mine came with one of our used boats. I guess it's about 15yrs old and the material is far thicker and nicer to sit on than cheap li-lo type pvc. It is pretty well full width in an Aerotec but would not be so in a broad Honwave like yours.

It has tabs so you can tie the backrest to the existing seat making a mini sofa.

Mrs F loves the idea of travelling sitting on that but two issues... she would take up too much floor space... and it's pink so I've banned it.
