Sibbing in Plymouth Sound - Turnchapel based.

So after the great success of this summer nr Teignmouth Mrs Fenlander wants to explore a little further on next year.

Does anyone have experience of the Plymouth sound area perhaps from the perspective of being based on the waterfront in the Turnchapel area.

Any info much appreciated.

RIBase
Tiz a great place to rib and sib. The Tamer can be fun going up river on a riser and the whole Sound gives plenty to see and explore.

You'll love it.

No not in the end. We had the chance of a holiday cottage in the Turnchapel area hence the question but in the end stayed in Fowey for two weeks. I've looked at the Turnchapel place again though for 2019.

I dd my BSAC Diver Cox course out of Fort Bovisand many years ago and we did much of the course in the Hoe not far from Turnchapel due to big waves coming in. Later, I launched my own little SIB at Fort Bovisand and went out to play, unwisely, in those same waves.

It's a while since I've been down there, but I have happy memories of plenty of water to explore, plenty of boats and naval ships to see, and plenty of... fresh air.

You'll enjoy it.
