sibhome built launching trolly/dolly

home built sib launching trolly/dolly that i made from scaffolding and some tubing , i used some mini motorbike wheels /tyres and some half inch stainless bar welded to the cross piece for stub axels, wheels can be taken off easy as they are held on with split pins , the lot can be dismantled and will go in the back of my zafira along with the boat/engine ect ,though the add on T handle was an after thought along with the front castor wheel ,the front keel support is scaffolding held on with a scaff clamp so its adjustable ,the upright docking arms make life easier when recovering the boat ,

Nice job....I'm thinking about launching wheels myself from time to time... I can't commit myself to get done anything else for my SIB for this season....

That's a nice homemade job - the number of times I pass scaffolding lorries blocking the road and wonder what the hell use could be made of 'em!

On a completely different note, is that a black fender on the starbord side of the boat ?? I only ask because I assume fenders on an inflatable would be considered a bit - well, y'know - OTT.... ? But given we've got shiny light grey tubes, it's tempting......

I don't have wheels, but i keep forgetting to lift the 10lb anchor. On Saturday I noticed the acceleration on my sib is not that it once used to be, after a short while driving I turned my head back and see my anchor dancing on the waives on with me going at 20mph....
