No it's just practice and neat folding. I can usually beat the makers stated packed dimensions for any SIB.
BTW welcome to the forum. I've not seen that shape of SIB before... how long is it?

It's called a hybrid kayak so I was told, can find similar online, but with different transom

Problem easily solved by getting a second bag which also reduces the weight (unless you fill the space with extra gear)
Cost was £25 from the manufacturer Excel. Alternatively they will sell you a bigger bag fit for purpose.
