Well done Koogsy and welcome to the forum... that was well under priced.

Let us know how you get on with it on the first trip.

Plenty of us on here with the same boat and often the same outboard so any problems just ask.

Was it this one below (about 2/3 down page £800)?

Have to say I had that flagged up in my 'search alerts' on News Now when it was listed but did not even bother posting it here as thought it was 100% a scam! Well done indeed.

I know we all tend to but it doesn't do to always think the worse as just now & again there are genuine folks who are completely out of the loop with prices.

Years ago a relative told me a guy in their village was selling "a boat they used for fishing" for £350 that had been left in the garden for years. Nearly didn't look as I thought it would be some rubbish old dinghy.

It was green with mould and half full of leaf debris... the engine wrapped in old ragged tarps but I paid him the cash... inflated the trailer tyres and towed it home.

Turned out after an hour with the hose and squeezy I had a known brand 16ft GRP cuddy fishing boat with a mint 8hp Suzuki on remotes sitting on a decent road trailer.

So as I say now and again...

Shiny paintwork, original box, warm loft storage.. in your defence, that's quite a lot of distraction

Tidy looking aerotec 420 with decent mariner 25 outboard. Advert is very sparse on information but got to be worth a punt by someone if it's not too long in the tooth.

Look at this on eBay 4.2m Aerotec boat | eBay

The 4.2m Aerotec on eBay is mine,I bought it to take to Spain but inflating it every time and lifting the engine was just too much, I am 70 next year,so I bought a 4m searider The 4.2m Aerotec is a great boat and the engine is ex fire-brigade so has been very well maintained.I also have a bunked snipe trailer to suit which I am selling for £300

Very interesting spot... particularly as they make so much of the 37kg aspect.... when the data plate says 41kg!!

Look at the hood shape... that's a Tohatsu 15** with a Mariner colour/logo hood... not the usual lightweight Mariner 15 2-stroke as sold in the UK up to 2006.

In other parts of the world where 2-strokes are allowed they still sell this "Tohatsu" Mariner.

** In the Tohatsu range the 15/18 were the same outboards just with different power outputs and you can get a new grey import Tohatsu 18 for less than their £2495 for this 9yr old 15.... or for £200 less a new Suzuki DF20AS EFI at only 3kg more with a 5yr warranty compared to their 3mths on the old Mariner.

Yep a very interesting spot... but a very cheeky price.... and a very cheeky sales pitch based on the wrong weight!

Unusual to get the opportunity for an Aerotec under a year old as a used sale. Not sure if it's connected with anyone here?

Bombard Aerotec 380, Inflatable SIB, 2016 Model, Includes steering controls | eBay

Decent asking price inc the steering setup... and offers invited.

As usual needs checking out it's a legit sale re its (short) history etc.
