Well done indeed. Basically you've done what takes most of of us a few years and a number of outfits to do, i.e. just buy the best all round SIB/engine compromise/performance general combo there is.

That last one's a 4.2m as well! They rarely come up.
Wonder if they are even more capable?

Not that I read, too long for their own good I think, a bit like the longest Honwave airfloor.

Now here's a SIB I've always liked the look of and nearly bought a couple of times.. a 3.5m Futura GT.
3.5 Metre Zodiac Inflatable Boat | eBay
I'm guessing it's around a 2000yr build so the usual proviso re checking seam glue but it does look really smart. Old shape Johnson but that too looks tidy. An offer on asking might get it for little more than the value of the outboard.

Shows what brilliant value some outfits can be. Always liked those old school Johnsons too.

Interestingly that's the one that was on Ebay for ages at £1500... I think there was a 15hp (Yamaha?) from the same seller that sold quickly separately just leaving the boat. He's re-done the photos and reduced the price so it looks like a new listing.
It's on Ebay at £1,295 or best offer... BOMBARD AEROTEC 380 Inflatable BOAT | eBay
I wonder what we'd want to pay for that boat (it has gen Zodiac transom wheels) given that Aerotec outfits have sold for not much more than that with 15hp and 25hp engines?

Yep, there have been some amazing deals on Aerotecs lately but the prices of a late big name 15 is still up to £1100/£1200 or so and I think the true worth of one of these outfits with a nice looked after Aerotec is nearer £1800/£1900. The wheels will go for £150 used too. Boat and wheels have to be worth at least £1000 alone, nothing better out there in SIB land in terms of price vs performance (sorry Gurnard!).

Perhaps it's time of year or the bad summer we've had but while the late 15hp Mercury/Mariner/Yamaha outboards are holding up well the outfit prices seem to be slipping. I was very pleased when my Zodiac 340/10hp outfit eventually sold a few weeks back because it looked for a while like I was going to need to give it away or hold on until the start of next year's season.
Bit frustrating as the season is turning that I haven't been able to offer my old Aerotec so far... that may have to stay until next spring... mind you I don't want much for it so may put up as a winter cheapy for someone who wants to try one out at low cost.

Rite place rite time maybe, but it was a dealer that is still going now
also earlier this year I saw Aerotec's advertised from dealers for £1800
