Ahhh exclusive stealth grey!
Who's going to be the first to ask its age? I reckon a very old one from the Velcro paddle holders, grey bow bag and lack of "reinforcing roundels" at the ends of the grab rails.
So buyer's got to price in the transom coming adrift.

Looks like me ;-)
2005, but buyer not sure. Apparently pristine condition. A bit expensive IMO - and quite far away.

What's the rough price for someone to reglue transom and floor?

If thought 2005 but buyer not sure I'd say 2000. Just ask them for the serial number to be certain.
Can't remember the last price given for that work... was it around £400... anyone remember?? Ahh just found it... £360 at Ribshop in 2017.
I'd also be wary of the "one patch".. it's huge and I wonder what it covers?

Ok, so I'll keep making such assumptions when deciding if it's worth a drive to have a look.

Thanks! I don't think it makes sense to buy a boat just to reglue it - unless it's justified by the rest of the goodies than come with it, but then the price will be probably too high to buy 20 years old lump of PVC. £400 is ok to manage risk on a 10 years old one though
I'll keep looking for a 2nd hand 380. My problem is that I've not had much experience with SIBs, so if I buy a new one then I don't know if I'll keep it for 10 years. But having sold my 6m RIB, I need something to get me on the water.

I know, seen that setup!
Aerotec is narrower than Honwave, so I'm hoping it will fit in the boot.
My problem is that the whole setup needs to fit in the boot with 4 people in the car, so no folding of back seats allowed.

Aerotec is a good sib, might fit in boot, if not consider roof bars and ratchet straps

That is my need too but it needs a large loadspace. The crucial dimension is the packed width of the boat. Looking round at replacing my car earlier this year (now deferred) I struggled to find cars that would allow the Aerotec to fit in this way. The slightest bit of wheel arch or suspension spring turret intrusion to the loadspace was enough to mess up most of my choices.

BTW Stig's Honwave is a tighter pack than the Aerotec…
Aerotec: 115/72/39cm
3.2 Honwave: 112/65/38cm
The 3.8 Honwave is 10cm wider packed and that could be crucial.

From packing my Aerotec and Honwave getting to the factory numbers was a challenge.

Remember any sib will pack down smaller if you use a bravo to deflate it

>>> getting to the factory numbers was a challenge.
Not trying to be flippant but it's just practice (skill? ha ha). We always match and mostly beat the stated pack size.
For example I made a note of the Aerotec measurements when we arrived home in the car from 2017's summer holiday.... 105/70/38cm. Almost 10cm off the "standard" width while maintaining the other two dimensions.
And I'm really sorry to sort of disagree a bit Stig but we never suck the air out... just roll it roughly once to get the air out then a second time for the pack. If you leave the pump deflating to excess it produces a sort of vacuum laminate that is a pig to fold.

Note to self then, try harder lol. I must say it’s probably more like fenlander says at the post day out repack at home than the waterside get it in the bag pack

>>>Nice 2 stroke 15 at a good price imho... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F362432264805
Yes lower than top money reflecting it's not the latest nor a minter... making it good value if it runs nicely.

I agree fenlander, I always just roll it up but presumed it would pack smaller with all excess air deflated, but I imagine it would make folding difficult....... like you say, practice..... [emoji106]

Yes if we are on a day out... rather than holiday where every inch of space is needed... we don't take so much trouble and last weekend made an ugly lump of it as we were rushed and I knew I'd be inflating again 24hrs later to wash down.
